Hi, I’m Duane Gilder.
I founded FreiWater in 2024, but the idea was born long before that—during a hurricane on the Gulf Coast.

Years later, I moved to Central Texas just in time for a drought. Lake Travis was shrinking. My plants were withering. And the water restrictions were getting tighter.
That’s when I asked another question:
“How much water is my air conditioner actually making?”
Answer: 475 gallons in one month. Pure, clear, cold water… going straight to the sewer.
So I built a solution. Then I made it better. Now I help families like yours capture that water, store it safely, and then use it how and when they want.
